The Work
In Mexican tradition, the nahual is the animal that walks beside you — a companion, a mirror, a source of strength. This idea sits at the heart of my practice.
I draw Power Animals — nahuales — through a slow and detailed process of observation, line, repetition, and symbolic detail. Working in black ink and color on paper, each piece becomes a way of exploring the character and symbolism of the animal itself.
My work is deeply shaped by growing up in Mexico — by its animals, its visual language, and the idea that the natural world is alive, connected, and full of meaning.

About the Artist
I’m a Mexican artist based in Portugal. Animals have always been at the center of my work, but over time they became a way of exploring symbolism, instinct, and the parts of ourselves we recognize in the natural world.
My practice is rooted in the Mexican tradition of the nahual and informed by my training in shamanic practice. I create each piece slowly by hand, using black ink and color to build intricate patterns, textures, and symbolic details.
Through the work, I’m interested in the relationships we form with certain animals — and why some of them stay with us.

Power Animal Portraits
For those who already know the animal they feel connected to. I create an original hand-drawn portrait in ink and color, shaped by the animal’s symbolism and your connection to it.
Power Animal Journey + Portrait
A private one-to-one drum journey to encounter your Power Animal, followed by an original portrait created from what emerged in the experience.
Group Power Animal Experiences
Shared experiences that explore Power Animals through guided journeys, creativity, reflection, and conversation.
