About the Workshop

This workshop is an invitation to slow down, turn inward, and meet your Power Animal — the animal that walks beside you as a companion and inner mirror.

Through a guided drum journey, journaling, and an intuitive drawing session, each participant leaves with their own hand-drawn Power Animal portrait — a renewed sense of connection to their own intuition, a deeper understanding of the qualities their Power Animal carries, and the particular aliveness that comes from making something artistic.

What we'll do together

  • We begin with a short introduction. I share the concept of the Power Animal — rooted in the nahual tradition from Mexican cosmology — and what to expect from the experience ahead.

  • A 25 min. guided drum journey where I invite each participant to enter their own inner landscape and meet their Power Animal.

  • Immediately after the drum journey, participants write freely — capturing what arrived, what they saw, what they felt. No structure, no prompts. Just the first words that come.

  • The heart of the workshop. Using Power Animal card decks, pens, pastels, and other materials, each person brings their animal into form on paper — slowly, intuitively, with whatever line and detail feels true to them. This is not about technical skill. It's about presence and connection.

  • A quiet moment to reflect on the experience. Space to share — what arrived, what surprised you, what you're taking home.

    Each participant takes their drawing home.

Location: Casa da Lua, Ericeira — and available for hosting in other spaces by arrangement

Duration: Approximately 2-2.5 hours, adaptable to the group

Group size: 10–15 people
