Power Animal Journey & Portrait
A private guided drum journey to encounter your Power Animal, followed by an original portrait created from the experience.
The Journey
We begin with a private one-to-one drum journey.
You lie down, close your eyes, and follow the steady rhythm of the drum as I guide you into the experience. There is no animal assigned to you and no expectation of what you should encounter. You simply follow what unfolds.
You may encounter an animal that feels immediately familiar, or one you would never have expected. What matters is not only which animal appears, but how you experience it — how it moves, how you feel in its presence, and what stays with you afterwards.
My training in shamanic practice informs how I guide the journey, and my work as an artist shapes what comes next.
What Happens During the Session
Before we begin, we spend a little time talking about where you are and anything you’d like to bring into the experience.
The drum journey itself lasts around 25 minutes.
Afterwards, we talk through what you remember — the animal you encountered, the landscape, emotions, symbols, or details that stood out — and explore what the experience may mean for you.
There is no need to interpret everything immediately. The conversation simply helps us notice what felt important and gives me context for the portrait that follows.
From Journey to Portrait
The journey becomes the starting point for your portrait.
I draw from the animal you encountered, the details you remember, the qualities you connected with, and anything that felt especially meaningful during the experience.
The portrait is not based on a generic interpretation of the animal. It grows from your particular encounter and my own artistic interpretation of it.
Each piece is drawn slowly by hand in black ink and color, built through intricate linework, pattern, and detail.
Online or In Person
The Power Animal Journey can be experienced either online or in person.
Online
We meet privately via Zoom. I guide the drum journey live, and afterwards we talk through the experience together.

In-person sessions are available in Ericeira or Lisbon, Portugal. The journey follows the same structure, but takes place together in the room.
Both formats lead into the same portrait process.
